Soft Colors
Lets take a look at some light bright living rooms:

Soft pink, peach and beige. Here is a good balance between pattern and monochromatic, making the room interesting but not intense.
Soft blue, crisp white and a light grey. This classic room is modernized by adding mirror tables. I would never get tables like that, look at all the finger prints…ugh.
Cream and white. Otherwise, the room is nice.
More Pink!
Here are more examples of how to use pink in your interior:
Bedroom:

A peachy pink with white and with mirror details makes a soft yet posh room.
Wall:

Hot pink wall with brown interior. Btw, is that chair made out of a chiffon scarf? Maybe it is a lucite chair with a scarf draped on it, I don’t know…
Living room:

Soft pink and white with dark green and yellow accents.
Bathroom:

Pink and white with maroon detail.
Bedroom:

Medium pink with white and brown. This combo is a lot softer than the usual pink/white/black combo, although a bit more bland.
Nursery:

A great medium tone pink with white. This is adorable.

Now lets take a look into Betsey Johnson’s all-pink apartment:

Betsey has painted her entire apartment in pink, has black floors and white, pink or yellow furniture, depending on the room. This is a great way to separate a larger space of one wall color, into smaller ones (you can see the dining area in the background of the living room island in sec. pic up). This color magic in combination with ceiling lamps (rugs also works well for this), divides a large room into separate spaces.
