A ray of sunshine from one of my favorite designers, Eileen Kathryn Boyd. I love the classic cream color hues she put together with mimosa yellow. In most cases the yellow would really take all of your eyes attention when paired with a neutral background, but see how Eileen has balanced the color throughout the room. The chairs and throw pillows  are the major sources of color, and the yellow ribbons on the curtains balance the color throughout the room.  It is all in the symmetry and balance here.
