White Grid Headboard!
*

Beautiful light blue and white bedroom. Love the textured carpet and heavy curtains!

But the best thing about this bedroom is the headboard. It goes all the way from floor to ceiling, and is just a white grid. The wall behind this grid is painted a deeper shade of blue to add some extra depth.

Beautiful gray tile bathroom. The counter is a deeper shade of gray, and floats between two walls. Sconces mounted on the mirror, and a classic bathtub with silver lion’s feet.

Dark Blue Living Room
*

Now this is something we haven’t seen much of, dark blue walls. This regal color is in stark contrast to the light colors we are used to see on the walls, and a very welcome change.
*

I love how the lamp-light divides the room into small cozy zones. You wont get that effect with a lighter color wall.

LOVE the shiny red vitrine/book shelf/desk (?)!

Blue walls, beige carpets and dark wood furniture. Heavy and masculine, with pretty pillows and tulip bouquets.

BB: Brown and Blue
A warm rich brown looks good with most other colors, of either warm or cold tones. Lets take a look at some ways to use brown and blue together. Blue is generally considered a cold color, but is warm if yellow or red is added. This will make the blue more green (aqua/turquoise) or more purple (indigo/violet), respectively:

Aqua and Yellow
This is a fresh and fun color combination:
Living room:
A soft yellow and turquoise really freshens up this otherwise bland living room.
Hall/ Entry:

Check out the funky paint job on that bench!
Master Bedroom:

A light and fun master bedroom. I would prefer a larger rug under the bed instead of two on the side. And what is up with placing the bed in a corner like that?
Bedsheets:

I love these. Great pattern, the circles are very feminine.
Living room:
This room and the next are designed by none other than Julianne Moore herself. Who knew? (The pics are not from her home).
Bedroom:
Super cute bedroom!
Going Nautical
Why don’t we continue where we left of in the last post about the nautical interior style:

Such a lovely nursery! cream, blue with hints of red.

A baby blue, white and dark wood bathroom. Great contrast gives a clean look.

Blue and cream master bedroom. Those side boards even looks like they were taken from a boat… LOL.

Another bathroom. Old bucket sink paired with a modern faucet. Mainly blue and white.

A fantastic bunk bed in a kids room. Baby blue, white and dark heavy wood furniture.
